First consider your climate. Then find an appropriate protector. Look for a product with a mold inhibitor if you live in a wet climate. For hot areas, UV protection will be a concern. Whatever product and climate you live in be sure to observe the label to see how frequently you should apply them. Since the chair is wood be sure also to seek a product that will prevent rot and insect infestation.

How do I clean my wooden Adirondack chair? Make sure the Adirondack chair is clean first by sweeping it and then using a mild soap and water scrub. Do not allow soap film to stay on your chairs.
